As we wrap up February - the month of love with Valentine’s Day celebrated in the U.S. - it only made sense to talk about decluttering and organizing as an act of self love.
It is not selfish to go through your belongings and discard those things that no longer serve you. In fact, it can be just the thing you need to do in order to get in touch with the real you and who you want to be without the layer of stuff clouding your judgment.
Decluttering can make you a better person, parter, and parent and that is why it’s a worthy use of your precious time.
In this episode of the Wannabe Clutter-Free podcast, host Deanna Yates explores decluttering as an act of self-love.
Yates shares her personal journey of decluttering, describing how it reflected her life, personality, and tough questions, and how it ultimately became a form of self-compassion and self-love. Throughout the episode, she emphasizes the importance of decluttering not just physical spaces but also mental and emotional clutter.
She offers 11 tips for busy moms to incorporate decluttering into their lives as an act of self-care, so they can let go of the stuff holding them back and be the woman, wife, and mom they truly want to be.
